FAQ

Does The Kaman Center for Wellness accept insurance?

At this time, we are an out of network provider. Please contact your insurance carrier directly to discuss your out of network benefits. Our services are reimbursable by many “out of network” insurance plans. People have this offered with their benefit plan without their knowledge at times. An out-of-network plan means that your insurance company will fully or partially reimburse for care outside their network of health care providers.
Psychotherapy also is typically covered by pre-tax Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), or Health Spending Accounts (HSAs).
The Kaman Center also works on a sliding scale basis.

How does tele-therapy work?

We use a HIPAA compliant platform to provide online psychotherapy sessions. Therapists give the full hour for tele-therapy, and all paperwork, and payments are electronic.

What age groups, and populations do you work with?

The Kaman Center is dedicated to helping adolescents and above regardless of their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, and sexual orientation.

Ideally, we would discuss the possibility of ending therapy when you feel ready. Some people feel the urge to end therapy when we talk about issues that arise difficult emotions. An experienced therapist can help you explore he motivation to stop and work through the decision with the understanding that you can come back at any time.

How long does therapy take?

There is no specific time frame that can be given for therapy. Our goal at the Kaman Center is to give you the effective tools, and coping methods to use in your daily life, so that you may feel better as soon as possible.
